Course Objectives:             Following this course the students will:

·          Have been exposed to different facets of the profession of chemical engineering, including career planning,

Resume preparation and interviewing, and industrial opportunities for Ph.D. engineers.                             

Topics Covered:   

·          Nontraditional career opportunities

·          Engineering careers in industry, government and academia

·          Oral presentations required

Class Schedule: One (50 min) lecture per week

Contribution of course to meeting the professional component:

·          Exposure to those many opportunities available in various fields
