Research Interests:
My goal is to provide enabling technology through the development of microfluidic systems for
applications in biology and medicine. Specifically, I develop systems for efficient isolation
(sample preparation), culture, manipulation and extraction of information from functionally
viable cells for applications in clinical diagnostics and cell biology. I also work on materials and
fabrication technology to enable design and development of truly integrated complex
microfluidic systems.
