2011 AISC/ASCE Steel Bridge Competition

On behalf of the 2011 University of Louisville Steel Bridge Team, welcome! For a second consecutive year, the UofL ASCE/SAME Student Chapter has competed in the AISC/ASCE Student Steel Bridge Competition. The 2011 Ohio Valley Student Conference Regionals was held on Saturday April 16, 2011 at the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio. Thanks for taking a few minutes to check out our hard work and GO CARDS!!

Results for the 2011 Competition

The U of L Steel Bridge Team finished 8th out of 12 teams this year at the Ohio Valley Student Conference. Placing in this year's competition was a milestone for our chapter since this was the first year our chapter successfully constructed a bridge during the conference in over a decade.
