Master of Engineering Degree

The J. B. Speed School of Engineering offers an integrated five-year program leading to the Master of Engineering degree (MEng).  The program combines a four-year Speed School Bachelor of Science degree and the one-year Speed School Master of Engineering degree.  The Bachelor of Science degree includes three semesters of mandatory cooperative education.  Both the Bachelor of Science degree and the Master of Engineering degree are accredited by Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET.  Students who complete the Bachelor of Science degree can apply to the Master of Engineering degree in the same discipline.  Students cannot apply for a Master of Engineering program that is different than their Bachelor of Science degree program.
