Kersey Hall

Kersey Hall is named in honor of Laura Kersey, Speed School librarian for 32 years. Originally known as Kersey Library, it formerly housed the geology department and the Institute of Industrial Research. Kersey Library closed in 2006 and its holdings were integrated with those of Ekstrom Library. In 2007, the Laura Kersey Reading Room on the second floor of Ekstrom Library was named in her honor. The Kersey Library building is currently being renovated for other uses by the Speed School of Engineering.
