Spanish Section collecting items to sent to Puerto Rico

Bring your items to send to Puerto Rico by 10/25

One of our students in the Basic Spanish program has given us a great opportunity to donate items to people in Puerto Rico. Through his jobs at UPS and the military, this student travels to Puerto Rico every Tuesday and Thursday and has asked that our department community consider donating anything and everything possible for him to take.

Our student knows he will be traveling to Puerto Rico until next Thursday (Oct. 26) and possibly later (if so, I will extend the deadline for bringing in items).

Please bring any of the above items to HUM 332 by Wednesday, October 25th.

As we know, Puerto Ricans on the island are not receiving the aid they need and are suffering dire and horrific conditions. Please consider participating in this unique opportunity we have been given.
