Dr. Cynthia Ganote, a visiting assistant professor in sociology, was interviewed Saturday, March 9, for KPFA (Berkeley, California's Pacifica Radio station), as part of their special International Women's Day programming. As a gender sociologist, Dr. Ganote was asked about the implications of having more women in the House of Representatives and the backlash that they face, as well as about the scrutiny Representative Ilhan Omar has recently faced.
