This year’s Fitzbutler Humanitarian Award recipient is Dr. Mary Carter.  Dr. Carter is a surgeon in Louisville who has dedicated much of her career to teaching medical students here at the University of Louisville.  Her efforts are felt internationally through her annual medical mission trips to Honduras.  The Fitzbutler Lecture will be Wednesday, March 25th, 2009.

Our spring social, Spring Fling, will be April 3rd, 2009, at the Mellwood Arts Center.

The Annual Health Care Classic 5K to benefit the Healing Place will be April 18th in Cherokee Park. We invite all of Uof L and the Louisville community to join us to support this valuable community resource.
