2008-2009 Cases
GSC v. Senate
The Court ruled that committee appointments approved by a new Senate with yet no official voting power were unconstitutional.
Price V. Oleka
The Court ruled that Oleka's former Supreme Court Justice status does not make him ineligible to run for SGA President.
Tudor, Bates V. Christopher
The Court ruled that Christopher did not exceed the limit placed on campaign material expenditures. The Court also found both parties in violation when both engaged a local sign supplier in varying degrees, an action the Court feels constitutes a mild form of harassment and orders the drafting of two separate formal letters of apology to the storeowner. Failure to do so will result in public reprimand.
Awadallah V. Jones, Oleka, Laughlin
The Court found candidates in violation of campaign rules. As a result, the Court deducted points from each candidate's total voting percentage.
