As your EVP, I will assist the SGA President with the internal affairs of SGA - facilitate Senate Meetings and the legislative process, oversee the budget, and coordinate tuition related efforts. To learn more about me and what I do, please follow the links below. 

DUTIES OF SGA EVP

1. Assume the duties of the SGA President in his temporary absence or vacany

2. Serve on the University-wide Budget Advisory Committee

3. Serve as chairman of the Executive Board

4. Oversee the expenditures and finances of the SGA Budget

5. Administer the internal operations and policies of the SGA

6. Serve as Parliamentarian for the Student Senate

7. Compile and maintain permanent records of the Student Senate, Student Councils, and SGA Boards for public inspection, such as minutes and attendance rosters from regular and special meetings

8. Encourage, help and educate the Student Senate

9. Facilitate SGA Student Senate Meetings

10. Monitor internal operations of SGA

11. Coordinate Senate Remuneration

12. Serve as a non-voting ex-officio member of the Student Senate, voting only to break a tie

13. Arrange a workshop to heighten the awareness and sensitivity of all Student Senators to all cultures represented at U of L

14. Prepare and facilitate leadership development classes or workshops to improve student leadership on campus and in the community

15. Organize the Senator Retreat
 

BIOGRAPHY OF SGA EVP

Profile

Executive Vice President Deep Aggarwal, a junior from Louisville, is majoring in Economics, with minors in Finance and Biology.  He is a former Business Senator.  As Executive Vice President, he is the Chief Operating Officer of Student Government, responsible for the internal management of the organization.
