UofL junior Elizabeth Turner has been awarded a 2019 Etscorn International Research Award. UofL awards the Irvin F. and Alice S. Etscorn International Summer Research Award to promising undergraduates interested in conducting international research over the summer.

Turner will use the scholarship to take part in an Arabic language program in Amman, Jordan.

For me, learning languages is critical and the best way to do so is by going abroad. I want to work in international relations after graduation.
