On July 11, 2009, members of SWE served ice cream on the steps of J.B. Speed from 2:15-3:15. Various ice cream flavors, including, but not limited to, Chocolate, Vanilla, Cookies n' Cream, and Superman were served to both students and professors who stopped by. Many of the people who stopped by asked who we were and why we were serving ice cream. Our response was always, "We are the Society of Women Engineers, and we're just saying, 'Hello!'." The event was a huge success! Despite theweather being cloudy and humid, an estimated one hundred people turned out to the event over the hour!
