On August 29th, 2009, the school year was kicked off with a trip to Downtown Louisville. This was a way to get the freshmen and upperclassmen to get to know each other, as well as getting involved with SWE. The day began at 9 AM, when we all met in front of J.B. Speed School and carpooled downtown. We walked through the Frazier International History Museum and stopped around the gift shop. Once finished, we ascended to Glass Works, where there was glass art on display. Later in the morning, we walked down Main Street and next to the Waterfront by the Belle of Louisville. For lunch, we went to Bearnos, where we ordered three pizzas and got to know each other better.
