Welcome to the official site of the University of Louisville's pre-medical chapter of Phi Delta Epsilon
Phi Delta Epsilon is an international medical fraternity, representing more than 35,000 members in North America. Founded in 1904, this professional coeducational organization is comprised of medical and premedical students, practicing physicians, and distinguished emeritus members, maintaining active collegiate chapters on over thirty undergraduate campuses, accredited medical and osteopathic medical schools throughout North America.
Over its long history, PhiDE has succeeded in building a network of healthcare professionals committed to the following objectives:
* To promote fellowship and mentoring, equality and unity,
* To promote the highest scientific and educational standards,
* To promote, uphold, and maintain the highest standard of ethics on the practice of medicine, medical teaching, and research,
* To promote discussion about social and economic issues related to medicine,
* To promote non-profit group service to the community.
