The purposes of MSA of the University of Louisville are to serve the best interest of Islam and Muslims at the University of Louisville and the community at large. Toward this, the association shall:
1. Promote unity and joint action among the Muslims;
2. Conduct social, cultural and educational activities in the best traditions of Islam;
3. Hold congregational prayers and Islamic religious festivals at appropriate time;
4. Promote friendly relations between Muslims and other beliefs;
5. Endeavor to make Islamic teachings known to interested other beliefs.
