You can either apply to an allopathic or osteopathic medical school. Some students apply to both. Be sure to reseach the difference between allopathic and osteopathic to have a full understanding of what you're pursuing. For example, the University of Louisville and the University of Kentucky are allopathic medical schools. The Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine is an osteopathic medical school.
