MAPS Mentoring Project

MAPS is beginning a new project that we will be participating in for 2011-2012. We will be partnering with Central High School Magnet Career Academy to mentor 10 of their best and brightest pre-health students. MAPS students will be serving as mentors. As a mentor you will serve as a positive role model to share your educational/professional experiences and networking opportunities and to offer advice, insight, and moral support to a high school student. The ultimate goal for the mentoring project is to develop students who will be academically competitive and competent in pre-health planning when matriculating into the challenging pre-health college curriculum. Your involvement as a mentor can help our program facilitate that goal.
