APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
I. PROJECT DESCRIPTION (25%):
Describe how the project utilized technology. What type(s) of technology was used? Where and when did the project occur and is it ongoing? How much time/effort was devoted to this project? Was specific funding provided for the project? If so, was funding from internal or external sources? Did Information Technology (IT), the Delphi Center, or other support units/staff contribute to the project?
II. PROJECT IMPACT AND EFFECTIVENESS (40%):
How does the project impact students? Examples of evidence: student satisfaction surveys, pre/post testing. Does the project have research potential? Can evidence be provided on the student learning, effectiveness and/or retention? Did the project achieve planned goals and objectives?
III. INNOVATION (25%):
How is the project new, unique or creative? How does the technology used enhance learning, methods of teaching, the curriculum, and/or opportunities for research in new and innovative ways?
IV. SCALABILITY (Tie-Breaking Category):
Can the project be scaled to serve your department, school or college, or the entire campus?
V. UNIVERSAL ACCESS (Tie-Breaking Category):
Does the project adhere to Section 508 guidelines of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act that allows those with visual, hearing, and mobility impairments to successfully navigate and utilize the technology of the project?
VI. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
List names of additional team members. What else should reviewers know about the project, the applicant(s), and the project’s impact that would help them evaluate its contribution/importance?
VII. SUPPORTING MATERIALS (for each area listed above):
Send attachments or links to any supporting materials that could help the evaluation committee review your project and its impact. (i.e. research or support of the technology)
