The life, The strength, and The heartbeat.

The Association of Black Students has a rich history at the University of Louisville.  The organization has worked tirelessly for students of color over the past two decades. The Association of Black Students also known around the Belknap Campus as "ABS"prides itself on being a true representative of the black student voice to top level administrators, legislators, and campuses around the country.

At UofL ABS makes every attempt to represent its more than 1500 Black Students. We also partner with nearly 30 student organizations and host several signature events that you can find on our calendar. ABS is the proud governor of the African American Programming Fund nearly $20,000 that helps student organizations host on campus events. Apart of ABS's rich history also consists of aiding in service, scholarship, and leadership. ABS hosts leadership seminars and retreats, connects students to scholarship opportunities, and creates opportunities to serve the university and Louisville community.
