The Research Resources Facilities (RRF) is the administrative and operational oversight unit responsible for managing and directing animal care for the institutional research program. The RRF oversees the operations of all University of Louisville animal facilities. Supported by an experienced team of faculty and staff devoted to the care of animals used for research and education, the RRF serves as a resource to the researchers, students, faculty and staff who have received IACUC approval to work with animals. The RRF strives to provide the highest quality of animal care and works to support the IACUC's commitment to animal welfare and excellence in research. UofL's Animal Care & Use Program has been accredited by AAALAC since 1965 and is currently the longest-running continuously accredited institution in the world.
