The Division of Nonclinical Industry Collaborations (NIC), a division of Industry Contracts, specializes in providing support to faculty and staff to engage in activities with industry/for profit organizations that do not involve participation of or require informed consent by human subjects. We review and approve nonclinical funding proposals to commercials entities, and draft and negotiate appropriate contracts such as sponsored research, subaward (e.g., for SBIR/STTR projects supported by Federal funding "flow-through" via small business concerns), service, and non-disclosure/confidentiality agreements.
