Functions and Services

• Review budgets and approve applications for submission to outside sponsors

• Provide guidance and assistance in completing external applications consistent with university policies and procedures.

• Negotiate grants, contracts and subagreement with sponsors.

• Serve as official authorized signature authority for sponsored program grants and contracts.

• Maintain a database for all proposals and awards for the University of Louisville and the University of Louisville Research Foundation.

• Provide general information relating to grants management and track processing of proposals and awards.
