U.S. EPA Funding Opportunity Is Coming - Students Learn By Doing
ATTENTION: There is a unique research funding opportunity coming in a few weeks from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
EPA offers annual research grants to U.S. colleges and universities to engage students in projects to solve our world's most serious environmental challenges. Through its People, Prosperity and the Planet (P3) program, students working on teams design sustainability solutions and compete for more funding to take their ideas from the lab to the real world.
In its 10th year, EPA's P3 program fosters team-based learning, interdisciplinary effort and class-to-real-world experience. Take this opportunity for the 2014-15 school year to excite students about making a difference in the world today. Be watching for this announcement in the coming weeks. Go to the EPA web site to sign up for the listserv to receive notices instantly when opportunities are posted: http://epa.gov/ncer/listserv/
You will find information about the program and all the official fine print about the upcoming request for applications: http://epa.gov/p3/
The P3 Team look forward to sharing this wonderful educational opportunity with you!
