The TRIA (Transmit for Review and Initial Assessment) is the initiating form in the negotiation process for clinical projects sponsored by industry.  The form underwent a complete makeover in October 2011 and has now been further refined.  The newest version (with instructions) is available for download at http://louisville.edu/research/offices/industry-contracts/common/tria-mira.html.  You may begin using the revised form now.  The Office of Industry Contracts is phasing out use of the old form on March 17, 2012.  Call OIC at 852-8359 with questions about the TRIA.
