January 13, 2010 - KY SBIR/STTR Phase II Proposal Preparation Workshop (Lexington, KY)
This workshop is designed primarily for current recipients of Phase I SBIR/STTR awards who want to prepare to submit their Phase II proposals. But anyone who wants to understand what they're getting themselves into before they embark on even a Phase II project will benefit. Agenda includes: the basics of Phase II, how it differs among the various agencies, how to prepare the Phase II proposal, and what should be covered in the commercialization discussion in the Phase II proposal. The success rate for Phase II proposals is reported to be at 40-50%. Increase your chances to produce a winning Phase II proposal by learning the "ins and outs" of Phase II application requirements. Also learn about the Kentucky SBIR-STTR Matching Funds Grant Program, and the Kentucky Phase Zero and Double Zero Grants Program. Visit http://ksef.kstc.com for agenda, speaker bio, location details and online registration. Deadline for online registration is Friday, January 8, 2010, 9:00 AM (ET). (Walk-in registration subject to availability and higher fee.) Co-sponsored by University of Louisville.
