The UofL Genomics Facility provides gene expression, genotyping and DNA sequencing services. We also assist with real-time PCR and quantitative as well as qualitative nucleic acid analysis.

Other Services
- RNA analysis: We offer access to the Nanodrop ND-1000 for quantitative nucleic acid measurements and to Agilent’s BioAnalyzer for RNA quality assessment.
- PCR: The Facility has an ABI ViiA-7 real-time PCR system, which can be used by our customers on request.
- Training: On request, we offer training in many areas of genomic research, including real-time PCR, Nanodrop, BioAnalyzer, RNA isolation, sample preparation for microarrays and more.
- Data Mining: We offer free access to the latest versions of Metacore and Partek and will be able to assist with the use of either software.
