Psi Chi

Welcome to the University of Louisville Psi Chi website! Psi Chi is the national honor society for psychology and recognizes students for their academic achievement and success. Membership requirements are (1) completed 9-semester hours in psychology, (2) 3.0 GPA overall, (3) 3.2 GPA in psychology, (4) $70 dues (one-time dues for lifetime membership; $45 for Nationals and $25 for U of L Chapter). Membership applications are available on the Psi Chi bulletin board located on the 3rd floor of the Life Sciences Building.
Additional information about Psi Chi can be found here: http://www.psichi.org/
Even though official membership in the national organization is limited, our meetings are open to all of those students (undergraduate and graduate) with an interest in psychology. We regularly host talks with psychology professors or other community professionals at our meetings, lending an opportunity for faculty-student interaction that can be hard to come by in U of L's often large classes. We are open to other program ideas as well, and welcome input from anyone who is interested. If this sounds good to you, we hope that you will stop by one of our meetings or drop us an email. We look forward to meeting you!
