Financial Support

Typically, graduate students in the department are supported for 4 years of study, contingent on continued satisfactory progress towards the Ph.D. Sources of funding for doctoral students in experimental psychology include fellowships, research assistantships and teaching assistantships. All include stipend, tuition remission and health insurance. For reference, stipends for 2011-2012 stipend levels are $22,000/12 months.
