Research assistants:

Brittani Loeser

Brittani is a junior Psychology major; she is also pursuing minors in both Economy and Health and Exercise Science. She is planning on attending graduate school for Occupational Therapy. She started as a Research Assistant in the KID lab in Spring 2014. She is a former day care teacher and nanny, and enjoys interacting with children. She joined the lab to gain more experience working with children, and she spends her free time exercising and relaxing with friends.

 

 

Kayla Renner

Kayla is a senior majoring in Psychology and Humanities; she is also pursuing minors in both Philosophy and Religious Studies. She started as a Research Assistant in the KID lab in Spring 2014. She has a broad range of interests but more than anything she loves working with kids. After her last year at U of L, she hopes to earn a Masters in School Counseling.

 

 

Aubrey Williams

Aubrey is a senior majoring in Psychology. She started as a Research Assistant in the KID Lab in Spring 2014.  She has previous experience with children as a dance instructor, school age teacher at a daycare, and an after school teaching assistant. After graduation she intends to go to graduate school to pursue a career in Clinical Psychology.

 


Lauren Bajek

Lauren is a senior majoring in Psychology and minoring in Spanish.  Her previous experience with children includes being a teaching assistant in a summer preschool program as well as being a cheer leading coach.  After graduating from U of L, she hopes to go to graduate school to study counseling.


Jacob Messmer

Jacob is a junior Psychology major and is planning on going to graduate school in either Counseling or School Psychology. He enjoys working with kids and has been a little league baseball coach for three years. In his free time he enjoys reading and playing sports with friends.

Lauren Pennington

Lauren is a senior Psychology major; she is also minoring in Sociology. . She has previous experience with children as a cheerleading instructor. After graduation, she intends to further her education in graduate school to pursue a career in Counseling Psychology.

Gretchen Santana

Gretchen is a junior majoring in Psychology. She started as a research assistant with the KID Lab in Spring 2015 and is interested in developmental research. After her last year of college, she hopes to enter medical school.

Carmen Schreiber

Carmen is a junior majoring in Psychology. She has gained experience working with children as a tennis instructor for beginner's tennis clinics as well as providing individual instruction. She also enjoys babysitting and singing in her free time.  With interests in forensic psychology and mental health counseling, Carmen hopes to attend graduate school for a degree in Clinical Psychology.

Meghan Semenick

Meghan is a senior psychology major, sociology minor.  Her previous experience with children includes coaching youth field hockey as well as taking care of her three nieces and two nephews.  After graduation, she intends on furthering her education at Spalding for clinical psychology
