Lab Manager:

Kristain Pile

Kristain has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Science degree in Special Education (concentrating in learning and behavior disorders).  Kristain has devoted her career to working with children and has had a vast amount of time spent with children. She has experience in daycare settings as well has Jefferson County Public Schools. In her experiences, she has had the opportunity to work with children as young as six weeks old and as old as nineteen. She joined to become the lab manager and obtain firsthand research experiences in psychology.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two dogs.

Research assistants:

Brittani Loeser

Brittani is a sophomore Psychology major and planning on attending graduate school for Occupational Therapy. She is a former day care teacher and nanny, and she enjoys interacting with children. She joined the lab to gain more experience working with children, and she spends her free time exercising and relaxing with friends.

Kayla Renner

Kayla is a junior majoring in Psychology and Humanities; she is also pursuing minors in both Philosophy and Religious Studies. She has a broad range of interests but more than anything she loves working with kids. After her last year at UofL, she hopes to go on to earn a Masters in Public Administration and one day work with a nonprofit focused on children.

Aubrey Williams

Aubrey is majoring in Psychology. She has previous experience with children as a dance instructor, school age teacher at a daycare, and an after school teaching assistant. After graduation she intends to go to graduate school to pursue a career in Developmental Psychology.
