Graduate Students:

 

Michelle Jackson

Michelle is a graduate student in the Experimental Psychology Ph.D. program working with Dr. Danovitch. She received her B.S. from the University of Texas at Austin in 2015. Her research interests include investigating children's ability to learn from different information sources and the development of children's fantasy-reality distinction. When not studying, she can be found watching tennis, playing and listening to music, and reading (for fun!).

Catherine McDermott

Catherine is a graduate student in the Experimental Psychology Ph.D. program working with Dr. Noles. She graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a degree in Psychology. Her current interests include studying how children think about the relationships between people and property.

Kayla Renner

Kayla is a recent graduate of the University of Louisville. She initially joined the lab as a Research Assistant in Spring 2014, and she now serves as the Lab Manager, running the day-to-day operations of the lab and coordinating our talented Research Assistants.

 

Research Assistants:

Lauren Pennington

Lauren earned her degree from the University of Louisville in 2015. She joined the lab in Spring 2015, and she intends to further her education and pursue a career in Counseling Psychology.

Gretchen Santana

Gretchen is a senior majoring in Psychology. She joined the lab in Spring 2015 and is interested in developmental research. After her last year of college, she will be attending Medical School at the University of Louisville.

Sarah Bichir

Sarah is a sophomore who joined the lab in Fall 2015. She is a double major in Psychology and Studio Art. After earning both degrees, she intents to go to graduate school for Art Therapy. When not participating in research in the KID Lab, Sarah works at a group leader at the STEAM Exchange, a local community arts center for children.

KID Lab Alumni:

Brittani Loeser

Brittani joined the lab in Spring 2014. She is currently pursuing training in Speech-language Pathology.

Jacob Messmer

Jacob is a senior Psychology major and is planning on going to graduate school in either Counseling or School Psychology. He joined the lab in Spring 2015.

Carmen Schreiber

Carmen joined the KID Lab in Spring 2015. After graduation, she will be attending graduate school in Glasgow, Scotland.

Meghan Semenick

Meghan joined the KID Lab in Fall 2014. After graduation, she plans to attend a graduate program in clinical psychology.

Aubrey Williams

Aubrey joined the KID Lab in the Spring of 2014. She is a recent graduate hoping to attend graduate school for Clinical Psychology.
