Declaring a major or minor in psychology as your field of study.

1. Before you can apply to be a Major or Minor in Psychology, you must take Psyc 201 (Introduction to Psychology) at the University of Louisville (or equivalent transfer course) and have earned at least a C.
2. Have an overall GPA minimum of 2.0 and a Psychology GPA minimum of 2.0.
3. Submit your request online at http://www.louisville.edu/a-s/advising/forms/.
4. When applying for a Major, specify on the form whether you wish enroll in one of the Bachelor of Arts Programs (with either a concentration in Social Sciences or Natural Sciences), or the Bachelor of Science Program.
5. After a few weeks, notification regarding your status will be sent to you in the mail or through your university email account. If accepted, a copy of your records will be forwarded to the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences (317 Life Sciences Bldg).
