As we plan logistics for the conference, please keep these important dates in mind.

February 1, 2019 - Registration I: Student and Faculty/Staff General Information due

February 15, 2019 - Registration II: Student and Faculty/Staff Travel and Abstracts due

REGISTRATION

Names of participating students with abstracts, presentation format and faculty participant list are due by February 15, 2019. The registration link has been sent to participating schools' conference coordinators. If you have any questions, please contact Jenna Williams.

Each university will be responsible for the selection of participants on their campus. We are limited to a total of 6 students per institution with 3 oral presentations and 3 poster presentations.

TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION

The conference will take place on University of Louisville’s Belknap campus. Participants will be staying at the Brown Hotel in Louisville, KY.

Please note: University of Louisville has reserved rooms for all registered participants. You do not have to book hotel rooms. Transportation shuttles will be provided to and from the Louisville International Airport (SDF), as well as to and from campus.

PRESENTATION FORMAT

Each institution is limited to 6 students, with a maximum of 3 oral presentations and 3 posters.

Oral Presentations

All talks will be 15 minutes with 5 minutes for questions. If you plan to use slides or other projected media, please bring your presentation preloaded on a flash drive to have it uploaded to the computer before the beginning of your session. Students should report to their presentation rooms 15 minutes prior to the start time of their session.

The presentation rooms will be equipped with wireless internet and PC compatible presentation equipment.

Posters

Posters should be no larger than 36″ X 48″. Easels, tack boards, and tacks will be provided. Students must stay with their poster for the duration of their session and be prepared to discuss their research.
