Why he chose U of L: At what other university can you meet new people, have fun, and receive a higher education all at the same time—and at an affordable price?
The biggest surprise when he arrived on campus: I did not realize how many different kinds of people could interact on just one campus.
Advice for future students: My advice to new students is to never give up. If you feel like school is too difficult, do not worry because U of L has several resources for you to utilize.
What he wishes someone had told him about college: I wish somebody would have taught me a better way of making the transition from high school to college. When I came to U of L, I treated college as if it was still high school.
Other thoughts about U of L: As a student at U of L, you are constantly challenged but well rewarded daily. Having fun and making new friends while receiving an education is what being a U of L student is all about.
