Why he chose U of L: It was my top choice because of all the opportunities here. It has well-renowned programs – GEMS especially, an everything else was a bonus. I think U of L’s programs are comparable to any other in the Northeast and Northwest.

The biggest surprise when he arrived on campus: There are always a lot of things going on here, and most people are laid back and open minded.

Advice for future students: Step outside of your boundaries. Take chances and get involved in things you normally wouldn’t, and take classes that challenge you.

What he wishes someone had told him about college: Don’t take those 8 a.m. classes!

Other thoughts about U of L: U of L is a fine institution and it has a real hometown feel for a large city.
