The University of Louisville thrives on its initiatives to provide professional development training and continuous education to all of its staff and faculty members. These programs are designed to develop the competencies most critical to the success of university employees in their day-to-day work while allowing new and experienced employees to enhance their skills and bring greater value to the university. Individuals have an opportunity to participate in team-based learning that builds collaboration across university departments and units.

University Business Training (UBT) is a certification and training initiative for the university's unit business administrators/managers (UBA/UBM). This training supports the high demands of a UBM's job function and is a continuation of the higher level of business excellence expected within the university.

The SuccessfUL Supervisor Series is a ten-week program designed for both new and experienced supervisors. The series focuses on developing skills and competencies that contribute to the success of university staff and faculty in their day-to-day operations.
