Center for Translational Research Building earns Gold
The Center for Translational Research building earned a Gold LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating from the U.S. Green Building Council.
The 288,000 square foot research building uses condensate from the air conditioning units to irrigate the landscaping and strategically uses natural light to reduce energy reliance. The University of Louisville is committed to constructing facilities and major renovations to at least a Silver LEED level.
