Dear Friends of UofL,
- Our men's soccer team had a stirring trek to the Big East title and the national championship game, finishing #2 in country.
- Our football team, picked to finish last in Big East, is headed to UofL's first bowl game since 2007 under the leadership of Big East Coach of the Year Charlie Strong.
- UofL's graduation rate improvement ranks us #6 among public research universities (Chronicle of Higher Education).
- Our Tax Increment Financing (TIF) proposal is endorsed by Metro Council and given preliminary approval by the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority. The TIF would move us forward on a $1.1 billion, 30-year plan to translate engineering and applied science research into economic development.
