A World Leader and another National Champion

Dear Friends of UofL,

It has only been a few days but our Cardinals continue to lead in global and national arenas.

Our University of Louisville Cardinal Singers, led by Kent Hatteberg, were ranked the #1 in the world, superseding the longtime leader "Kamer" from Latvia. Congratulations Kent and all of our Cardinal Singers.

In addition, Carlos Almeida became the first ever University of Louisville swimmer to win a National Champion when he won the 200-breast in 1:51.88 at the 2012 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships. GO CARDS!
