National Change of Address (NCOA) now required for all Permit Standard Mailings

Reminder:  Due to a postal regulation change, all Permit Standard Mailings must now be checked against the National Change of Address (NCOA) database.  Mailings processed by the university’s contracted vendor, United Mail, will be assessed an additional $75 fee for this service.  Postal Services has acquired software and will provide this service for 3.3 cents an address, with a $75.00 cap; a considerable savings over the contract price on small mailings.  We have also acquired the technology for applying addresses using an ink jet process and for label printing.
