USPS pre-printed bar codes deadline now May 2011

Please be advised per the United States Postal Service (USPS) has extedned the deadline for use of it's intelligent bar code until May 2011. The current design for Business Reply, Courtesy Reply envelopes, postcards and labels with preprinted bar codes are changing to include a new Intelligent Bar Code.  All envelopes, postcards & labels of the old design in circulation after May 2011 will become unmailable.  The bar code on the current design will no longer be readable by the USPS.  The new design format will be available through IT Design & Printing Service beginning in May 2009 on all new and repeat orders.  Please plan appropriately and use up your existing inventory as soon as possible.
