Biography

Okbazghi Yohannes is Professor of International Studies at the University of Louisville in Kentucky.  He has PhD in International Studies from the University of Denver and a Master’s Degree in Business Management from the U.S. International University – San Diego, California. 

His areas of teaching are: International Relations, African Politics, Politics of the Middle East, International Terrorism, and Comparative Political Economy.  Yohannes has published five books, among which are: Water Resources and Inter-riparian in the Nile Basin and Anatomy of an African Tragedy.  He has also published numerous articles.  Currently, Yohannes is looking at hydro-ecological status of three East African lakes.  Yohannes’ research areas include: political economy of fishery, water resources, and the politics of religion.
