Fundraiser for Summer Internship Scholarships

We've been working over the past six months to form and grow our Political Science Alumni Council. After several successful events, we're excited to announce our first fundraiser: a politically-themed trivia night. Register and mark your calendars for Thursday, November 15th from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at Butchertown Pizza Hall. The proceeds from this event will support three students' internship-related expenses in Washington, DC in Summer 2019. Internships are crucial for resume-building and networking, but these opportunities can be out of reach for many at UofL and we want to help.

You can register as an individual ($25 and we will place you on a team), or become a table sponsor/team captain for $250 (you choose your own teammates). Don't worry about flashbacks to High School.... the format is NOT quick recall. You and your team will have time for spirited deliberation during each round. Other opportunities for support include the Sponsor Level ($500) and the Host Level ($1000). Both of these levels will receive special recognition as well as a table of six for the evening. Any donations above $25 are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Appetizers, wings, pizza, salad, desserts, soft drinks, and craft beer are all included with your ticket. Cash bar will be available for additional beverages. The registration page has an option for Happy Hour only (6:00 - 7:00 pm, dinner still included), if you can’t stay for trivia (7:00 - 9:00 pm).

This event is hosted by Michael G. Adams (BA ‘98), Jim Cauley (BA ‘92), and the Political Science Alumni Council. We look forward to adding your name to our circle of leaders. We welcome UofL Political Science alumni AND our extended Ford Hall family and friends to what is sure to be a fun evening for a great cause.

And if you can't make the event, you can still make a tax-deductible donation to the scholarship fund.
