Rape Agression Defense
Did you know that 1 in 4 women are sexual assaulted while in college?
- Did you know that every 21 hours there is a rape on a college campus?
- Did you know that more than half of college rapes are attacked by dates?
- Do you feel safe on Campus?
The Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) Systems is designed to help women learn self defense. It consists of tactics that help women become aware of the possible dangers that can develop at any time. It teaches them to be preventive, reduce and avoid high risk situations. The University of Louisville, Department of Public Safety will be teaching the R.A.D. course on the following dates (dates not yet determined), please e-mail for more information:

R.A.D. students need to plan to attend the total 12 hours to complete this course.
Classes can be held for groups of 15 to 20 women on dates and times suitable to your needs, upon request.
