There was a record breaking turnout for the planetarium's National Astronomy Day/Transit of Venus celebration on June 5 with right at 500 attendees. The Louisville Astronomical Society was on-hand with solar telescopes, providing the opportunity for LIVE viewing of the transit while the live webcast from Hawaii was shown in the dome. Thanks to all who joined us for this last opportunity in our lifetime to view Venus move between the Earth and sun.
