Thunder in the Dome, April 21st
The weather is always perfect for Thunder in the Dome!
You can have all the Thunder fun without the Thunder headaches! View the fireworks on HD TV with incomparable surround sound making it seem as though you are right there…but without the jostling crowds. The moment Thunder is over, you can head on out without being stuck in traffic for hours on end.
Thunder in the Dome ticket holders get FREE parking close to TARC Thunder routes (families can shuttle to the waterfront and back), kids activities and a picnic dinner at the planetarium and a planetarium show.
Itinerary:
- 1 PM: FREE parking at the Speed Art Museum Parking Garage begins - park early and take the TARC shuttle to watch the air show!
(Attendees receive a parking voucher from the planetarium the day of the event - parking for Thunder in the Dome is first-come, first-served) - 4 PM – 7 PM: Picnic dinner, kids activities, free planetarium show
- 7 PM – 9 PM: TARC to the Waterfront for more live viewing or relax at the planetarium (no structured activities at this time)
- 9:30 PM: Thunder in the Dome
(Seating is first come, first served, with overflow seating available in the lobby and classroom)
Notes:
The University of Louisville is a non-smoking campus
No outside alcohol allowed into the event
No pets, please
Children under 2 admitted free
When you buy a family pass, you can purchase up to 3 additional children tickets at the member rate of $10 each
Parking provided for one vehicle per family pass
Ticket holders can participate in as much or little of planetarium activities as they want
