The Philosophy Minor

provides an opportunity to augment your undergraduate education with a systematic study of great ideas, past and present. The Philosophy minor also offers a rigorous curriculum and builds intellectual skills that serve you for life, no matter your line of work or aspirations.

The minor has four components:
1. History of Philosophy:

    * PHIL 301-304 (any one)..........................................................3 hours

2. Logic or Critical Thinking:

    * PHIL 211, 311, 312, or 512 (any one)..........................…….3

3. Ethics:

    * PHIL 222, 225, 321, 323, 331 (any one).................……..…3

4. Electives:

    * PHIL electives at 300 level or higher.....................................6
    * PHIL elective at 500 level.............................................………3

      MINIMUM TOTAL..................................................18
