Persons visiting the University of Louisville, attending university-sponsored workshops or seminars, attending special events held at the University and athletic events held on campus must display a temporary parking permit in their vehicle.  Temporary permits can be obtained from the sponsoring unit, Information Centers North or West, the Parking Offices, or utilize the pay and park facilities on campus.

Units at the University of Louisville sponsoring seminars or special events should contact the Parking Office at 852-7803 to make arrangements for parking at least two weeks in advance of the event.

SHORT-TERM PERMITS: Faculty, staff or studens who have purchased a hanging parking permit but forget to place it on the vehicle they are driving to campus may obtain a free one-day replacement permit five times per semester; thereafter replacements will cost $3 per day. The short term permit is also available to visitors up to five non consecutive visits per semester; thereafter replacements will cost $3 per day.
