Experience a small piece of the African Diaspora
Located just six miles off the coast of Venezuela, the two island nation of Trinidad & Tobago is the southernmost of the Caribbean Islands offering a unique environment to experience the diversity of the African Diaspora!
The University of Louisville, Department of Pan-African Studies, together with the University of West Indies, St Augustine, offers a 3-week program in Caribbean Studies in Trinidad & Tobago, with a 1-week preparatory session at the University of Louisville.
Students will participate in a number of lectures, workshops, tours and visits to points of cultural and historical interest in the two island nation. This program is open to upper-level undergraduate and graduate students from any discipline.
