Implementation Project
October 1, 1997 - Fall Semester, 1999
In March 1997, the University of Louisville contracted to license the PeopleSoft Student Administration and Human Resources Management software systems to replace and improve upon several obsolete systems now in use. During Project ORION, the university will implement the new system, bringing it up for full production by the beginning of the Fall Semester, 1999. Once in production, the systems will be enriched for U of L applications from Fall 1999 through 2001.

Project Information
Project ORION will demand university-wide involvement for its success, as the project structure indicates. For further information on the project design, participation, and expected benefits, follow these links:

agenda: Biweekly posting of team assignments for deployment
specification and user testing.

Teams: Topical workgroups assigned to different aspects
of the system implementation; minutes of their meetings.

University policy and system functions or requirements.

universities implementing PeopleSoft systems.
