Project ORION Campus Community

Because ORION will affect every aspect of the university's dealings with its students, faculty and staff, campus discussion and consultation has contributed to the project's success so far. Senior administrative sponsors have provided personnel and fiscal resources for the project, and two committees advise the project management on policy issues. The University-wide Policy and Program Development Committee is regularly consulted on matters of general concern.

Campus communication about the project has followed a detailed plan established at the beginng of the project. Comments and questions about Project ORION, as well as issues or concerns about the new system's design or function, can be addressed to the Project Management Team via e-mail to project.orion@louisville.edu.

Issues brought forward during system prototyping are indexed in a database available for review and comment by the university community. Issues have been reviewed by the appropriate project teams and advisory committees, in accord with the issues-resolution process.
