In early fall 2004, a planning team of a dozen top employers and representatives from the university's Delphi Center for Teaching and Learning and College of Business and Public Administration conducted extensive local and national research into executive education needs and best practices.
The Result: A Program Designed by Business for Business
Businesses asked the newly formed Center for Executive Education for a conveniently located, high-quality program that would set today's promising managers on the path to becoming tomorrow's successful executives. Center representatives and planning committee members enthusiastically responded with a unique, inaugural program featuring:
- A personally challenging and results-oriented curriculum
- 4 monthly, two-day classroom sessions
- Assessment instruments for building self-knowledge
- Curriculum-focused readings and research projects
- Mentor/supervisor-sponsored participants
- Personal Action Plans aligned with organizational goals
- Action learning for relevant results with immediate payback

A program so well-received that the Spring 2005, inaugural offering was a sell-out!
